Dunkirk enabled the war to go on and was eventually won, brave men dont run if they have the weapons or capability to fight with, it was a cock up from both governments they werent prepared, although the french did ignore the intelligence offered that eventually encircled them. It has a legion, its not quite as foreign as the french one,there are limits to recruitment. And it functions as part of spains army not like the mercenary type or frances political tool legion. My step brother was a caballero legionario paracaidista. The regulares are the more indigenous foreign troop in Spain.

@longiusaescius2537 theyre part of the spanish army, infantry unit, but as they serve locally in spanish morroco,many in their ranks are from that part of the world
