@stevenspilly that's true yep a lot of ships were hit but the bombs didn't go off, they didn't have time to charge up as they flew in so low and were set so they could fly off without being damaged by the blaat of the explosion. Very brave pilots by all accounts

@stevenspilly let's see you fool, Germany did not have the production to invade britain, they had less planes to start of with and their navy wasn't comparable. Their equipment was not as hot as people make out, their tanks had huge problems with their gearbox and broke down frequently, plus they had considerable less than the allies, and their weapons seriously over heated needing more man power to make a machine gun fire for example. and let's not mention their lack of mobility unlike a totally mechanised British army. This was best seen in Russia as they marched everywhere and paid the price for it. Therefore, The brits survived the war alone before the yanks even thought about entering it and when they did there was a twofold reason, the Japanese attack and the propaganda job the brits did on them. Yep they supplied the UK, yes they left us to it till they knew they'd be bigger economically afterwards than the empire. But morally they had to enter and let's face it they're the same people, as are aussies, new Zealanders, Canadians etc much to your dislike. Have you heard of staying alive to fight another day? Well that's precisely Dunkirk for you. To win a war you have to sometimes lose a few battles. Now instead of hating why dont you read up on historical facts an educate yourself out of that bitterness you're suffering from. BTW Russia and Britain were allies in the 2ww

@walterseaman2556 the sidewinder was a sale in place before the conflict you dick, and ascensión Island is British not American, its rented out yo them but still British. The Argentinians weapons were mostly American, French or British. I think its you that knows very little. The brits bought all the exercet missiles on the black market and stopped the argies getting hold of them all by themselves mate, that's war, its not only fought by air, sea and land its fought with intelligence. No tengo nada contra vuestros combatientes pero vuestra propaganda nacionalista del régimen militar es un verdadero nido de mentiras. Tengo claro que la historia no es como se cuenta allí sobre todo vuestra soberanía de esas islas pero eso son temas ajenos a esta conversación.
