As I said casualties are about evenly divided between the Russian backed separatists and Ukrainian loyalists, both military and civilians. All Putin has achieved so far is a bloodier extension of the Donbas and Luhansk war. A tactical and strategic failure. He has said the war may go on for years. Currently he is conducting terror strikes against innocent civilians and civilian infrastructure in an attempt to starve and freeze Ukrainians.   10. Who said Ukraine was winning the war? Putin thought Russian tanks would be rolling down the streets of Kyiv on Victory Day. The Ukrainian army has fought the fascist Russian invaders to a standstill and liberated Ukrainian territory from them. And it’s not a war it’s a Special Military Operation for Denazification Demilitarisation and Liberation. The genocidal psychopath Putin said so.
