@jamescollins3647 Solar irradiance has slightly dropped in the last Solar Cycle. What may or may not be happening on Neptune is irrelevant. The Earth continues to warm rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions.

@jamescollins3647 CO2 levels have gone from 280 ppm to 415 ppm in the Industrial Era. The validity of the Greenhouse Effect Theory is scientifically undisputed. The planet is warming rapidly, sea level rise is accelerating, the ocean is acidifying, sea level rise is accelerating, the polar ice caps are rapidly melting and glaciers are rapidly melting all over the world. Just because some people are hypocrites doesn’t mean that the planet isn’t warming rapidly. That’s the tu quoque fallacy. I haven’t owned a car for 35 years, I don’t fly, I eat very little meat, plant trees. Don’t tell me what I should do. You are wilfully uninformed.

@jamescollins3647 The IPCC was formed in 1987, CC stands for Climate Change. Climate Change is the effects on the planet from Global Warming. Frank Luntz advised the Bush Jnr government to use Climate Change exclusively because it sounds less scary than Global Warming. The planet continues to warm rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions. Far too rapidly.
