I will say that scientists were hopeful that the increasing precipitation because of the increase in water vapour in the atmosphere would balance out the melting of the Antarctic ice sheet because it would snow more. Perhaps that is happening. There appears to be conflicting evidence. We shall see. The fact that sea level rise is accelerating show melt water is coming from somewhere. I like it when there are conflicting accounts. It means more studies need to be done.
