The intense rainfall in Greece was disastrous enough.

Acid rain was ameliorated by installing scrubbers that removed the Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxides that caused it. The hole in the Ozone layer? The hole in the Ozone layer has stabilised because the Montreal Protocol limiting CFCs which caused them has worked. What others?
