Because that study is about the Holocene not the Eemian. You don’t even know the difference. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
2
@NoOne56488 I have no idea. Five meters? Sounds like a fantasy film. Certainly no Climatologist said that.
2
Nonsense.
1
@mickoz9389 All large scale Climate reconstructions of the Common Era show rapid warming in the Industrial Era. It’s nonsense Mike. Stock to anecdotes like John Woodrow, you know SFA about Climatology. PAGES 2k Consortium - Consistent multidecadal variability - Nature journal. Maybe you and him can exchange stories around a campfire one day. You can tell him about tree stumps and he can tell you about Hannibal.
1
You don’t know anything about Hannibal’s crossing of the Alps do you. You have a career as a writer of fiction ahead of you.
1
@mickoz9389 Says someone who denies the validity of the Greenhouse Effect Theory. 🤦🏻
1
@mickoz9389 You’ve said it Mike.
1
@johnwoodrow8769 The study in Nature shows it was warmer in West Antarctica than it is now. Do you really think that West Antarctica is representative of the entire planet? If you do you’re wrong.
1
@fugawiaus The fifth I think. What’s your point? I assume you’re just trying to sound smart.
1
It was not warmer 4,100 years ago than it is now. Kaufman - Holocene global mean surface temperature - Scientific Data.
1
@johnwoodrow8769 You never cease to demonstrate what a complete fool and troll you are. At no point in that study does it say what you claimed. Kaufman - Holocene global mean surface temperature - Scientific Data.
1
@fugawiaus It’s five dipstick. You want to weigh in on this discussion? Away you go.
1
@fugawiaus By the way, do you know you’re illiterate?
1
@fugawiaus Where did you go? Hopefully attending a literacy class.
1
@fugawiaus Full stop. A sentence ends with a full stop. So nothing to say. No scientific papers to cite. No argument to make. Dipstick.
1
You don’t even know what it means. The last interglacial was 130,000 years ago.
1
Complete nonsense.
1
How do you adapt to over a meter rise in sea level by the end of the century? That means hundreds of millions of refugees.
1
@johnwoodrow8769 Sea level rise is accelerating due to Climate Change. Nerem - Sea level - PNAS. You’re not very good at Climatology. And the current sea level rise is 4.7 mm globally on average.
1
@mickoz9389 There plenty of evidence Mike. As usual you’re completely wrong. Hansen - Global Warming in the pipeline - Oxford Open Climate Change.
1
@mickoz9389 Sea level rise is accelerating due to Climate Change Mike. Nerem - Sea level - PNAS. Just stick to anecdotes about tree stumps or whatever. You’re good at that. You know SFA about Climatology.
1
On this basis. Bova - Seasonal origin of the thermal maxima - Nature journal.
1
You’re wrong again as usual.
1
Nonsense. Every major Meteorological organisation is the world, the NOAA, NASA, JMA Hadley Center and Berkeley Earth, agree with the following. This year is on track to the hottest year globally on the instrumental record, the last eight years were the hottest eight years globally on the instrumental record, nineteen of the hottest twenty years globally on the instrumental record have been since 2000. Every decade for the last sixty years has been warmer than the previous decade. The planet continues to warm rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions, far too rapidly.
1
@mickoz9389 More anecdotal nonsense from you. All large scale Climate reconstructions of Christian Era show exceptional warming in the Industrial Era. PAGES 2k Consortium - Consistent multidecadal variability - Nature journal.
1
@mickoz9389 Bwahahaha. Anecdotes against evidence. Loser.
1
Climate Change deniers are gradually becoming extinct. Future generations will despise them for colluding with the fossil fuel companies.
1
@ZELJKO472 Climate Change denier is common usage for people who deny the reality of anthropogenic influence on the current rapid warming. You’re being deliberately obtuse. And are wilfully uninformed.
1
@tomjones5338 CO2 levels have gone from 280 ppm to 415 ppm in the Industrial Era due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions. CO2 is a potent Greenhouse Gas. The validity of the Greenhouse Effect Theory is scientifically undisputed. The planet is warming rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions. Sea level rise is accelerating, hurricanes are getting stronger, fire seasons are getting longer, hotter and dryer, polar ice caps and glaciers are rapidly melting, the ocean is acidifying, heat waves are becoming more common and intense rainfall events are increasing due to Climate Change.
1
@seandelap8587 Time for you to go away Provo. You support the Provisional IRA murderers of innocent Australian civilians and the murderer of innocent Australian civilians Putin. You being an idiot Climate Change denier pales into insignificance compared to your vile political views.
1
@richardlafleur8389 It’s not “doomsday hysteria” Dicky. At current levels of CO2 emissions a sea level rise of over a meter by the end of the century is guaranteed. Most Climatologists are relatively conservative in their projections. Others see much worse outcomes and have good reason to think so. Read this. Hansen - Global Warming in the Pipeline - Oxford Open Climate Change. Of course you won’t. No doubt you’re too busy working on your homework.
1
@ANALSAWOL Hi Freedumb. Been on another fake Remembrance Day trip to your lady boy friends in Bangkok?
1
This year is on track to the hottest year globally on the instrumental record. The last eight years were the hottest eight years globally on the instrumental record. Nineteen of the hottest twenty years globally on the instrumental record have been since 2000.
1
The planet was cooling for six thousand years until it began warming rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions. We’re in an interglacial in an ice age. You don’t even know that.
1
No. That’s incorrect. All large scale Climate reconstructions show exceptional warming in the Industrial Era. It was not warmer than currently in the Medieval and Roman Warm Periods. PAGES 2k Consortium - Consistent multidecadal variability - Nature journal.
1
@zorot3876 Nonsense. All large scale Climate reconstructions of the Common Era show rapid warming in Industrial Era. PAGES 2k Consortium - Consistent multidecadal variability - Nature journal. It was not warmer in the Medieval Warm Period and the Roman Warm Period than it is now.
1
@zorot3876 I have no idea what you’re talking about. Climate gate? What’s that? You tell me about these supposed trees. I’m a bit bored, an anecdote might be interesting. Away you go.
1
You’re Irish and you support the Provisional IRA murderers of the innocent Australian civilians Stephen Melrose and Nick Spanos. Your opinion is worthless.
1
Nonsense. What ice cores show it was hotter? CO2 lags temperature in a natural world because Milankovitch Cycles cause warming which releases CO2 which reinforces warming until a new equilibrium is reached. The University of East Anglia didn’t “fiddle the stats” they used the unfortunate phrase “hide the decline” to disregard modern tree ring data that was affected by carbon fertilisation from anthropogenic CO2 emissions. They were completely exonerated of and deceit.
1
The Milankovitch Cycles in the last interglacial was a extreme one. That story. Bova - Seasonal origin of the thermal maxima - Nature journal.
1
More made up nonsense from you Mike.
1
@mickoz9389 Tell me another anecdote Mike. Got anything about vikings sunbathing? Meanwhile. PAGES 2k Consortium - Consistent multidecadal variability - Nature journal. Grow up.
1
No they weren’t. That’s a lie.
1
In a natural world Milankovitch Cycles cause warming which releases CO2 which reinforces warming until a new equilibrium is reached. Mankind has done away with the middleman of Milankovitch Cycles. You’re wilfully uninformed.
1
The planet is warming rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions, far too rapidly.
