No Climatologists ever said it wouldn’t rain again.

@generaldissatisfaction5397 No it wasn’t.

@seaworldsocialartslecturer4160 Flannery is a paleomammalologist and was a political appointment. No Climatologists ever said it wouldn’t rain again.

@ilguitaro I simply don’t care what the Media or Gore or Flannery said. There is a drying trend in Southern Australia. No Climatologists ever said it wouldn’t rain again.

@ilguitaro No. I trained to be a Geography teacher in the 70s and continued looking into Global Warming. I get extremely frustrated when uninformed people make blanket statements. And Climate models are quite accurate. Hausfather - Climate models - Geophysical Research Letters.

@ilguitaro Religion is belief without proof. That describes Climate Change deniers. The planet continues to warm rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions.

@ilguitaro I am extremely well informed. Informed enough to know the consensus on anthropogenic Climate Change is overwhelming. Of course there are unknowns, what is known is that the planet is warming rapidly due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions. The ocean is acidifying, polar ice caps and glaciers are rapidly melting, sea level rise is accelerating, hurricanes are getting stronger, fire seasons are getting longer, hotter and dryer and intense rainfall events are increasing due to Climate Change.

@seaworldsocialartslecturer4160 Sea level rise is accelerating due to Climate Change. Nerem - Sea level rise - PNAS. All you have is Flannery, who isn’t a Climatologist and was a political appointment to Chief Commissioner of the Climate Commission and a comment by an English Climatologist that at some indefinite time children wouldn’t see snow. In other words, nothing.

@ilguitaro A warming planet caused more heat in the atmosphere and ocean therefore more energy in weather systems. Hurricanes are getting stronger, fire seasons are getting longer, hotter and dryer and intense rainfall events are increasing due to Climate Change. Harris - Understanding the variability of Australian fire seasons - PLOS. Guerreiro - Rainfall extremes - Nature Climate Change. Kossin - Cyclones - PNAS. You have no idea about Meteorology let alone Climatology.

@seaworldsocialartslecturer4160 Tide gauges. NOAA Tides and Currents. You’re wilfully uninformed and scientifically illiterate.
