  1. Police using K9s as an instrument of excessive force, causing extreme pain and permanent injuries, is common practice of Police, all across the USA. Police use of K9s should be banned. Police are incapable of using K9s in a lawful and humane manner. California Assembly Bill 742 would ban the use of police K-9s for arrests and crowd control passed its first test in the California Assembly on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
