  1. The why is that the state is being run by a bunch of radical UN groupies, with a hive mind, who thinks that everything leads to war, and that it needs to be shut down. Miliband just admitted that Net Zero is really about cutting ties to the Middle East and Russia, and that comes directly from the UN, where they see the association with the Middle East and Russia, over carbon-based fuels, as causing war and upheaval, and simply stopping the use ends the wars. They see no middle ground.
