New York is following the same path, and I would have thought that they would have reached that point first since their state is the home of the original socialist movement. When one can't walk down a downtown sidewalk without stepping in a pile of human feces, or onto a used needle and syringe, you know that city has rolled over and died of socialism. There, you have the elite living in gated communities, while everyone else is either struggling to survive over squalor and high prices on everything, or they're fleeing the state. That is the leftist's utopia.
