Those, within Germany, who were responsible for the anti-Nazi laws, (making it so one can't discuss the subject), were the far-left, after WWII. After all, the far-left (Communist/Socialists) had a falling out with the National Socialists, when Hitler rose to power. At one time, when AntiFa was founded, during the early thirties, they wanted both the Communists and National Socialists to work together, to rule Germany. The problem, was that the National Socialists, under Hitler, weren't socialist enough for the Communist's liking. The same socialist ilk run Germany's government today, and they have no use for the civil rights in the US, because their people might learn of the cold hard truth about their country.
