That was when they started chipping away at the Old Right. They came in with the Rockefeller Republicans, and created the neocons, which was what Buchanan was exposing. It was these same Trotskyists that McCarthy targeted, and who Hoover warned about. They made up the Georgetown Set, which was also known as Wisner's Gang. Wisner turned the media on McCarthy to ruin him. It was the same group of people, now, behind PNAC and the Lincoln Project. Kristol and Kissinger, etc.

  2.  @dukekenny9340  Every war after WWII, they were either behind, or were tied to, especially in the Middle-East. They claimed to be anti-Stalinists, and against Soviet socialism. They even went so far as to side with the fascists, and the Nazis, all to thwart Stalin, because they claimed his brand of communism was nationalistic. (That's why they supposedly left the D Party). Of course, it wasn't, as can be seen after Trotsky's death during the Soviet expansion, and where they helped Mao. Trotsky pushed "international socialism," and permanent revolution. That gave us globalism, as well as the offshoring of jobs for essentially slave labor, and we now have their lot at the head of academia, big tech, Wall Street, and financing. They also formed the Russian oligarchs after the Soviet's fall, which they helped bring about, and were behind China, starting with Nixon, who was their puppet. We're living in their permanent revolution now, with all the violence and chaos.

  3.  @dukekenny9340  Yes, they're wealthy internationalists, and from the groups I mentioned. They call themselves "world citizens," which is what Trotsky was after, with his want of the destruction of the nation state, though that won't happen after the creation of the three unions in the northern hemisphere. They fall under the UN, however. Trotsky envisioned an international socialist government, and it was his people behind the World Federalist Movement. That would place the UN as the world government, if they have their way, where every human would fall under their laws and court.
