What it will do is trigger a worldwide civil war, and the elite behind it, who made or agreed with that "reset" statement, will be the first to perish, no matter their wealth, and no matter if they're left or right wing. It's happened many times throughout history. The days of Oliver Cromwell led to the creation of the very activists (Diggers) that were the fathers of communism, and this birthed the hard left and hard right divide. The public hated Cromwell so much, over his Plutocracy, that after his death due to disease, they dug him up, hanged him, and dismembered him anyhow. The public didn't care anything for the wealthy king that he had replaced, either. "Cromwell's body was exhumed from Westminster Abbey on 30 January 1661, the 12th anniversary of the execution of Charles I, and was subjected to a posthumous execution, as were the remains of John Bradshaw, and Henry Ireton. (The body of Cromwell's daughter was allowed to remain buried in the Abbey.) His body was hanged in chains at Tyburn, London, and then thrown into a pit. His head was cut off and displayed on a pole outside Westminster Hall until 1685." The normal general public has suffered these two political extremes since that time.
