  1. Fallow land, if left alone, is reclaimed quite quickly by trees and bush. It doesn't take very long at all. The change is real, and it occurs in cycles, which started about fifteen thousand years ago when the icecap started to melt. Each cycle is shorter than the one that preceded it. There is no stopping it, nor changing it. The liars tell you they can, and that the sky is falling. It's a money making opportunity for them.
