I've never seen a group of politicos, as well as a good number of the ignorant public, wish to give their nation away by joining it up with Europe, thus, placing the US under oppressive European laws and courts, which is exactly what the elitist 1% want, as now. They've been pushing for an Atlantic Union, which became the Transatlantic Union, since the end of WWII, and these actions by the left are helping to bring this merger about. Essentially, they're fighting for the interests of the very people that they claim to be against, but then, again, the people that pushed for the union, such as Streit and the Streit Council, are Trotskyites and socialists. This was what Pres. 45 was fighting by stopping the TTIP, which would have tied the US to European law. They hide it as "free trade." That's free trade under European rules and law, and especially those of Germany and France. This was why the UK left the EU as well. The TTIP was a similar scam to draw the US into the fold, just like they had earlier with the UK. It would have also enforced the US' role of being Europe's police force. When 45 said "No," the G7, along with US politicos, began trying to purge him from his campaign, and later, from office.
