  1. The Mexican government is ran much like the mafioso in many ways. In Mexico, you're not valued on merit, but by who you are. Of course, most collectivist socialist countries end up that way.... before the end. Mexico has been allowed to get by with behavior that other countries, such as Columbia and Nicaragua, weren't allowed to, but the Mexican's are just as guilty, when it comes to corruption and drugs. Drug money keeps Mexico and northern South America going. It is Mexican Heroin that is being sold for $5.00 a hit, on the street, which is the real cause of the opiate problem in the US. It is not as much Oxycontin or Hydrocodone, but the cheap Heroin, which is causing all the problems. The DEA is using the Mexican drugs, to attack legal scheduled drugs. The DEA demanded that the US manufacturer of Oxymorphone drop the drug, but generic is still available. Oxymorphone is given to cancer patients, when Morphine will not work. The DEA has went after every semi-synthetic opiate, having a hydro or oxy on the front, by blaming them for the overdoses that Mexican Heroin has brought about.
