@teamtinyturtle9103 The GOP will never go back to the way it once was pre-1952, (anti-war and pro-American), until the neocons (Trotsky followers) are booted out, much like the GOP had to do between 1910-12.
Trotsky was pro-capitalist, he claimed, but only until the time came to bring about his form of "international socialism." To spread it required war, and taking over nations to force them to adopt "liberal democracy," which hid international socialism.
Trotsky's followers were the progressives that formed after 1901 in both parties. The GOP had to step in to remove them starting in 1910. That lasted all the way to WWII, where the new right neocons (known as the "New York Intellectuals"), started taking control after the 1952 election.
That's why there's been no difference in foreign policy between the two parties since. The only difference has been national policy, and now they're making their move on it as well.
Several were booted out under 45, but some still remain. They were all in Bush's orbit.

@lesliepaulkovacs6442 Worse, is that this is being perpetrated by the followers of Lenin on the left, and Trotsky on the right.
Back in the thirties, a group of Trotskyites, (some joining in with the fascist cause), broke away from the D Party, and they were known as the "New York Intellectuals." They founded neoconservatism, or the "New Right," and infiltrated the right wing. The "progressive" neoliberal ideology is about spreading international socialism hidden as "liberal democracy," and it comes from both parties.
The Trotskyites from the Fourth International claimed to be anti-Stalinists, who were supposedly against Stalin's nationalistic "Soviet Socialism." Trotsky's idea was to spread it worldwide, and take full control.
