  1. The “party of Lincoln,” isn't something to be proud of, that's for sure. Of course, too many have swallowed today's historical narrative about him to realize what a tyrant he was. Trump wanted to revive the old GOP, the one of Taft pre-WWII. That was when the GOP was sensible and anti-war, the “Old Guard.”
