  2. Promises reneged upon by the west, and the UN, in Afghanistan, led to 2001. Ask yourself why it was, that the US went everywhere the UK and France used to occupy? What promises were made to those two nations via NATO? That the US would become the world's police for Europe? Why? The Great Game continues.
