  1. Funny, that within the oldest Gospel, that of Mark, it did not have the ascension in the original text. It was added after the writing of Luke, I believe. The original Gospel of Mark, tells of the ministry of Jesus, from his baptism by John the Baptist, to his death, his burial, and the discovery of the empty tomb. However, there is no genealogy of Jesus, or the birth narrative, nor, in the original ending, at chapter 16, does it have any post-resurrection. Mark is the source used for Matthew and Luke's writers. None of the gospels were written by the apostles. Gibson loves to vilify the Jews. The Bolsheviks and the Jewish mob, which runs the movie industry, must have really screwed him over in the past. Judaism is an ethnicity, which has many different political beliefs, and many different religious beliefs, including atheism. Karl Marx was a Jew, and we see how he turned out, even though there are many good and religious Jewish people. Jesus was a Jew himself, and a Jewish Rabbi at that.
