  1. The entire idea about banning so-called assault rifles, was to ban all semi-auto rifles in the end. They tried to lay it on the magazine capacity, but their hidden agenda was going after all semi-autos, including handguns. By the way, the semi-auto handguns for civilians are the same as those used in the military. The AR-15 rifle/carbine is the same as the military, except for the action (trigger housing/lower parts group). They want to use it as the route to ban them all.
