  1. Wall Street and the banks were run through a mafia-type shakedown (extortion) by the Democrats under Obama, so one can about bet where their money will go to support candidates for office. The left did the same thing to oil and gas, going so far as threatening to nationalize some companies, then asking for political donations after the hearing was over. They threatened the telecom industry, then their NGOs offered protection, for a price. Large corporations don't forget that, and they help the candidates who are pro-business. Obama's shakedowns, money bundling for political positions, and corporate pay-to-play over threats have come to an end. Political pay-to-play exists on both sides, but under Obama, it was taken to the extreme, with what one could call corporate extortion.
