When a nation controls and owns all industry, that's communism. When they control half, in a public-private partnership, that's fascism. When industry is freed up, and private ownership rules, that's capitalism.
The problem stems from the end of WWII, where the old European communists and fascists sat down, and agreed on a new political theory, which the Europeans started to implement. That was “third-way” politics, and it's very close to fascism. They also claimed that the public was now their new enemy, and it is us, the public, that they, the elite, blame for every ill, not themselves.

@andreiferariu Communism's not, it's third-way or third position, which is what they have been slowly implementing. It was an agreement made between the two differing European beliefs after WWII, and what was becoming popular in the US. That was what they had the meeting of minds over.
No, they did their best to stomp out communism, but look at whom those that did the stomping were, and what ideology they hold.
They really made themselves known during Clinton and Blair. They'll swear up and down that they're not the old fascists, but in reality, what they are, are the new fascists.
Likewise, they use a strategy of tension to create chaos between the two extremes. They use it to control the main parties in the Western nations. They claim it's “modern center-left ideas.”
“The Third Position is a set of neo-fascist political ideologies that were first described in Western Europe following the Second World War. Developed in the context of the Cold War, it developed its name through the claim that it represented a third position between the capitalism of the Western Bloc and the communism of the Eastern Bloc.”
Third position and third-way are the same beast, even though the third-way lot deny it. One only had to listen to Blair and Clinton, and watch their actions, to see that it was the same thing. It's why the Western govs are becoming more centralized and authoritarian.
