  1. Snopes lies by omission. I call it the "preacher's bait and switch" method. In other words, they will quote one sentence out of the whole, and make it sound as if it means other than it actually does. Bible thumping evangelical "preachers" use this method, by quoting one biblical verse, claiming that it means other than it does, and hope that nobody in the congregation has ever read the entire chapter, to know it's real meaning. Man is notoriously lazy, and we hate to read, thus one can be hoodwinked, very easily, if you lack knowledge. There are always two sides to every story, and the truth generally lies somewhere in between. In Snopes case, though, they are bent completely to the left.
