  1. The problem is, you have some in the GOP that are just as corrupt as their opponents on the left, and are involved in the same schemes. Those with Rockefeller ties, or once known as Rockefeller Republicans, come to mind, who are also Neocons. The Neocons (Kristol et al) are leftist transplants and were Trotskyites that fled the left over their hatred of Stalin. That is what infected the GOP back during Goldwater, and it is still infected today.
