DW just released a very good documentary called "Putin's pride: Cossacks and the church," about the Eastern Orthodox in Russia, especially how it allowed the training of thugs (mob) in church basements, and of course, they all supported Putin.   2. Dutch 'Plan' Der Linde: They have a triad going for Putin in the thugs, the police, and the church. Also, all of them see Putin as the new tsar, and they want a tsar back. They pretty much have that with Putin and Medvedev's revolving door. Essentially, Asia now has a tsar in Russia, and an emperor, again, in China, with Xi. North Korea has another with Kim, and there's a dictator in Iran with the Ayatollah. All four countries work in tandem. Worse, there has been mutterings among socialists in other nations about doing this, and killing democracies, in other countries.

  3. Dutch 'Plan' Der Linde: True. I believe that this is why Pope Francis made the statement back in 2015 that he wouldn't be around that much longer. He's from Argentina, and he is a Peronist. Peron was pretty much a dictator with Nazi ties. There are many within the RCC that are rebelling against his actions. I have actually heard Catholics, in the US, wish for Louis XIV back. They are generally the radicals, and they love the idea of the Holy Roman Empire and Charlemagne. When the HRE fell in 1806, later, in 1814, during the Congress of Vienna, it is said that the Russians, Prussians, and Austrians wished to stomp out Republicanism, and it seems that the old aristocratic families, and some in the church, have been working against democracy since that time. It was also in 1814 that the Jesuits were allowed to reform, which was condemned by the new democracies. Pope Francis is a Jesuit. This POTUS doesn't care for him, nor his clique.
