That is until they researched the party's history, and found that radical extremist socialism, as well as racism, have been with them from day one, which they kept well hidden. They also found out about the progressives ties to national socialism and fascism during their search. This is what the media has tried to cover up. . With President Trump, we have back as close to the ideology of Robert A Taft, (Mr. Republican, no entanglements, anti-UN), as possible, which the party lost to progressivism in 1952, when Ike, a pro-UN independent, and Nixon, a progressive neocon, were asked to run against Taft's ticket, who was the front runner. Dewey, another progressive, was behind it. After 1952, the progressives had taken over both parties. That's what JFK and Trump both knew.
