  1. The farther one veers to the left, the more rigid their ideology. It takes people who are very envious and jealous of others (mainly, of those having greater wealth and resources) to skew their beliefs to that. That is the root, after all, of DEI. Professor, you know the type, as they worked around you, and were jealous and envious of your success.
