@mileshall9235 The Trotskyites, still, to this day, claim to be anti-communists. In reality, they were anti-Stalinists, but fully believed in Trotsky's politics. They were brought into the National Review by Buckley himself, and became editors. All of them from the so-called New York Intellectuals. The same Buckley that was close to the Bush family over oil, Spook Central, and Yale. You could find the same beliefs in Yale, at that time, where Buckley and the Bushes attended, as you could in Columbia U and several NYC colleges.
