I don't really get into comic characters, but I do enjoy shows about espionage and the real world's underbelly. Saying this, when watching Spooks (MI5 in the US), it did more to turn me off on the organization, especially their constant screwups, and the government over their complete lack of morals. Their excuse was always: “After 9/11, we took off the gloves.” In reality, they were trying to normalize and push this behavior, and what we're seeing today about certain groups, upon the viewing audience since the series came out.
