  1. The "Puritan Clergy" actually leads to Christian Socialism and Christian Communism later on, so, it is, in fact, left-wing. It was Protestant religion responsible for bringing socialism and social science into their universities. In the US, the ideology was always within the communalist sects, and that eventually spread into mainstream religion in Boston, with the Church of the Carpenter. That then spread to New York City, where it grew, and infected postsecondary education at Columbia U. From there, it only grew larger.

  2. Supreme Court decisions can be overturned, though it is rare. An attorney only needs to show why a law is unconstitutional, and if the justices agree, then a prior ruling can be overturned. Nothing is ever "settled law" like these left-wing idiots seem to believe. The Supreme Court is only there to judge the constitutionality of a law, not make law from the bench, though some justices have been guilty of trying to pull that off.
