  2. All of it comes from the same cesspool known as socialism (aka utopian socialism), and that is a semi-secular version of an earlier religious movement in Europe, Britain, and early America. Think Puritanism, and you'll be hot on the trail.

  3. I'm sure that some had the idea, after their parents or teachers told them this, to refuse to work, (some even refusing to bathe), lie about the reason, and live on the dole while becoming a socialist activist or a sidewalk preacher.
