  1. It started with, mainly, Britain being blamed for WWI by commies around the globe, who were crying about evil imperialism, colonialism, capitalism, and nationalism. Not long after the end of the war, Britain began its plans to decolonialize. WWII happened, and it became even worse, especially after the end, when de Gaulle started cozying up to Germany and going against the US and UK to form a third economic power not tied to the Atlantic bloc and NATO. It has been a clown show ever since.
