This is much older, which has been building up until now. This started with the Dissenters many years ago, where they were cranks and zealots then, just as they are now. It has gone by many names and flavors over the years, but essentially, the Dissenters were the start, which is why it seems to still be a religious cult and crusade. Hollywood is just another propaganda pusher for it.
