  1. It's been that way since the last days of Wilhelm and the founding of the Weimar Republic. They had three socialist parties, with one just forming, but growing, over the differences between the SDP and KPD, and that growing party was the NSDAP. One was just as ideological as the other, but the SDP and the NSDAP wanted to destroy the KPD, which they said was controlled by Russia. They've always had these ideas about that type of “democracy.”
