There's a reason they keep bringing up the word, nationalist, and that is because all countries are sovereign nation-states, with borders, which they want to destroy.

@warbossgrotsmasha23 Worse is the myth they've been trying to spread, which states that the slave trade was started with the Portuguese (white men) when the triangular trade was formed. It's much older and ancient, and it's a slap to the face of the Slavs to state that, and even the British. They also make the claim that it was the Portuguese that captured the native Africans, when it was the Africans themselves that did it, and sold them to the Portuguese.

@rwberger6 Spot on, and race doesn't matter in the least. Those being trafficked are from every race on earth.

@warbossgrotsmasha23 They sure did. There were a number of Americans enslaved in North Africa at one time, taken from ships entering the Med. I can't recall the number now. The British were enslaved as well, and some were taken by invaders coming ashore. However, it was, indeed, everywhere before the triangular trade, and it is ancient. Race mattered not.
