  1. Look into the powers-that-be's idea that they always need an enemy. That is what caused all the problems we're witnessing today, and it began to form in 1968 with a few Malthusians. The West was in Vietnam, and the Cold War was surging forward, but a handful of nutters thought that since WWII, we still required a large enemy, and they came up with the public, itself, which is an enemy that wouldn't go away. What they had to do, was to find issues that they could accuse the public of, and voilà, one new enemy. Guess what those issues were: CC, etc.. Thus, today's new inventions, they claim, are to counter the problems that “the enemy” created, and that brings them a new industrial revolution. Believe it or not, they fully admit that they did this in their own books, which their group published.
