  4. He may have been forced into that, which is a good thing. The woke of today are the old religious Dissenters of yesterday; communal living ideas and all. That infected mainstream religion as well, which created the Christian Socialists in the late 1800s. The Dissenters that flocked to the US were those behind the witch hunts, which still leads to much about their actions today. They haven't changed much, radicalism and all.
