@wulfricofwessex147 The bikini was one of the first swimwear items produced in the new state of Israel's garment factories, just two years after the designs came out. There used to be a video about the history of the bikini.

@1685Violin I think that's where the two designers obtained their idea. However, you know the French, it wasn't long until they shed the bikini, and wore nothing at all on the beaches.
