  1. They can't define it because they won't. It was some of their own people that brought CRT into being long ago under other names, which grew. Go back to the early 1900s in New York, and at their first social science school (Rand), which is what Trotsky was involved with before he left to join Lenin at Saint Petersburg. That was then brought into Columbia U, and two other colleges, which then spread to the other states. In the thirties, the graduates were known as the New York Intellectuals, and they have a very interesting history in politics within both parties.
