  1. There were actually some who left the left wing for the right, starting in the thirties, who supported the Nazis. They were also Trotskyites that hated Stalin, and what they called "Soviet Socialism." Still communists, but just another flavor: international. They supported fascism as well, and all to topple Stalin. They were called the New York Intellectuals. Guess what group they came in with. The Rockefeller Republicans, who were really corporate leftists. Guess what sect they created within the GOP. The Neocons. Kristol was called the founder. After Trump, many of them, who were led by Kristol, reversed course, left the GOP for the D Party, and voted for JB. This was the same Kristol behind the "get Trump" campaign, and the Lincoln Project. Cruz isn't one of them, and he's still in office. He didn't refuse to run again, like some did, and this was why. Remember the "House cleaning?"
