When Churchill said: “to make the enemy burn and bleed in every way that is physically and reasonably possible...," I agree with that, as well as sending in the SOE. However, I think his big mistake was his wish to create a United States of Europe in a hope of stopping future disasters such as the two world wars. From the beginning, it wasn't set up like the US, as it allowed unelected people in big business to run the show.

@gottesurteil3201 Yes, the setup for the EU, to me, seems to be run by big business interests. Schuman had other ideas than Churchill and Ike when setting this entire scheme up. It was slowly foisted upon you, in the UK, I think, while hoping the population wouldn't notice what was really taking place behind the scenes.
