It all occurred over Nixon, who the Chinese supported on the West Coast. That's the same Nixon who brought us Earth Day and crated the EPA, along with changing the economic plan of the US.
"From February 21 to 28, 1972, President Richard Nixon became the first president to visit the People’s Republic of China (PRC), traveling there specifically for talks with communist leader Mao Zedong. The visit, which Nixon dubbed “the week that changed the world,” produced great theater. Nixon met with Mao in the leader’s study, toured the Great Wall of China with First Lady Pat Nixon, and attended a banquet in his honor with Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai.
"In 1967, Nixon’s article “Asia After Vietnam” was published in the distinguished journal Foreign Affairs. In it, Nixon argued that although Vietnam had occupied a significant part of the nation’s attention, development of the economies of the region should be important new goals of American diplomacy. But more than that, Nixon hinted that a new relationship with China could be initiated, and that the United States could begin to end its role in Vietnam by adopting a policy designed to support the South Vietnamese government militarily while ending direct American involvement. The influential article burnished Nixon’s foreign policy credentials."__Bill of Rights Institute, Gregory L. Schneider, Emporia State University.

What it all boils down to, is that several nations, and the UN, sold out to the CCP, and its economic clique, years ago, over cheap labor, where the elite became wealthy at the expense of the middle-class and poor. It was all about money, and corporations trying to dodge fair pay and labor unions.
In the US, it goes all the way back to the Nixon administration, Kissinger, and the Rockefeller family. Now, the CCP virus is the payback, on top of all the jobs and national self-sufficiency and security that was lost.
The same elite, and many of the politicians and government agencies, are just as guilty as the CCP. Every corporation that does business in China, and with their ASEAN economic clique, or with any other communist nation, should be boycotted. The financial institutions that do business with them should be held accountable and allowed to fail. If not, the public will still be supporting the same people who have brought them this blanket of death.
