Tax them more instead of bringing manufacturing back to the US, which would employ enough people to pay into SS and keep it solvent? Every social program will fail, over the US allowing corporations to offshore for cheap labor and lacking regulations, which put Americans out of work and good paying jobs. That is why nobody is paying into these programs. Instead of taxing the public, why not place high tariffs on foreign-made goods and fund the social programs with that, especially those products from these very corporations that moved offshore to Asia. Make it so they cannot profit by offshoring.
