  1. Don't call it cartels, call it what it is, international organized crime. Each syndicate works with the others. Still, in the US, we have the Sicilian, Jewish, Irish, Chinese (Triads), Japanese (Yakuza), and now, Latino (MS-13) mobs, and they work hand in hand with those "cartels" which they either own or control. The Russian mafia falls mainly under the Jewish mob. The word, cartel, makes the public think that it isn't tied to bad US or other syndicate actors, when it very much is.
