  1. The perp could have been walking down the street or sidewalk in front of her home when it was pinged, who knows? However, using SWAT for this is why the defund the police movement is still ongoing.

  4. This is a problem with having a city, county, or state control the refuge service. With private refuge collection, you don't have this. It will cost them more to prosecute her, but, of course, she'll be responsible for that. What if the woman is poor, and cannot afford the bill, fine, and the court cost? Jail?

  8. I had a very similar thing happen to me as a witness. I was asked a question in such a manner, that any way I replied would have been a lie. So, I turned to the Judge and said: “Your Honor, I cannot answer that question without it being a lie, and I will not lie to this court.” The Judge replied: “Answer it in the best way you can.” The above opened the door for me to tell the truth.

  9. Back in 2000, I would almost bet that people were still using IBM Selectric typewriters, or a Brother daisy wheel. There are fonts available that try to match these typewriters, but if it was typewritten, you can usually tell it.

  11. How many barrels were produced on the same rifling machine, with the same tooling, or by the same broach on a broaching machine? In other words, the tooling could leave the same pattern in the rifling grooves on multiple barrels before it becomes dull and is changed out. Also, what if it's etched rifling, which should not leave a tooling pattern behind? As a gunsmith, I have always questioned this.
