  1. Jacobinism failed in France when Robespierre's head was lopped off, too. It also failed in the Soviet Union when they went so deep in debt that they couldn't pay themselves out of it. Socialism, Communism, or using any other label are all Jacobin ideology. The public remembers. If you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.
