Spot on. As an example, the "help staff" for many companies were shut down, and moved to India. Now, they're hoping to bring them back to the west to fill similar positions, which they will only pay a pittance. The corporations know that foreigners will work for a small salary, where natural-born citizens will not.
Also, go to the surviving textile mills and garment factories, and look at who is employed there. This section of industry has always been the leading force behind not only socialism, but low pay and long hours.
The east is trying to shut down bespoke tailoring as well, with off-the-rack. A few of the tailors are even selling suits manufactured in the east, which they will fit when bought. None ever look right when compared to bespoke.
