The root of all prejudice is about the personality, and not the so-called race or breeding. However, sadly, some have claimed that if a handful within a group acts in a certain manner, then everyone within that group must act that way. That seems to always lead back to some within the elite and the academe, with academics who like to not only divide society to the most minute degree, but pigeonhole everyone within a group, with a certain character. Thus, when those academic's papers or books were or are published about race, groups, or caste, and others read them, many in society believe their claims, because they believe that it's from an authoritative academic source. In reality, it has an ulterior motive.
.
The academics who do or did this, always feel themselves to be of the elite, and they claim that everyone under them, who are not in their group, are different; mostly over the way a small handful has acted within a lower caste or group. For instance, if a starving person in a group stole food to survive, then some within the academe, at one time, labeled the entire group as being apt to theft. Books and papers published by academics, about racial makeup and IQ, and group characteristics over the years, are good examples. That is the root of so-called racism and the group or caste system. First, the academe divided the public into many parts, and they continue to do so.
.
What I truly believe is behind it, and this goes back thousands of years, is wealth and power. Those at the top of the pyramid love wealth, as well as the power that it brings, and they try to keep that extreme wealth and power within a small elite pool over competition. They would intermarry with other elite over wealth and power, to gain more, and they would also practice endogamy and inbreeding to keep that wealth and power within the family. They also have the belief of stopping those outside their group from gaining wealth and power, which competes with them, thus they publish propaganda to divide the so-called lower castes or groups under them. If you divide everyone under you, and have them fighting with each other all the time, it's very hard for these groups to advance and compete with you.
.
Think of all the ignorant protesters, now, who, instead of studying and trying to advance themselves, fight other groups all the time, over "oppression." They've bought into the elite's propaganda, and believe what it says, because, today, it seems, the academe has done a one-eighty, and they now fan the flames of hatred between the very groups and castes that they created beforehand. Those at the top want everyone else divided, as they reap the benefits.
